I live in Guernsey which is great 90% of the time, but am restricted with farriers coming over and not turning up on the day they said (but guess this is a common problem but at least most have a choice to change farriers), need to get some changes done on horsebox but nobody here does horsebox alterations and limited in what shows we can do (only managed to do 3 shows this season out of 9).
The upside though is at least you are fairly safe having your horses/ponies out, nobody is going to steal them cause they cant get anywhere, riding is mainly on the road but we have a 25/35 speed limit so fairly safe.
Sorry pointless post really just peed off cause farrier was supposed to come today and didnt and my boy has not been ridden for 6 weeks cause he had an abscess and then we were away with shettis for 2 weeks showing but really want to get going with big boy now.
