Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him on a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?

I guess it is a dominance thing!
It's not like anyone is 'physically' blowing his/her face when their head is out the window, unilke when you are face to face blowing at them...
(Which is only asking for trouble IMO - blow and ask to get bitten - then don't expect to get sympathy!!

Bit like.....if you change their food for something different for they look at you like you've gone mad, but if they find a decomposing rabbit on a walk they'll fight to the death to keep it!
