Hi Guys
We have all heard about the horses at Amersham and how badly they were treated and I am sure that it made us all go cold and shed a tear for all the horses that died there.
The ILPH is doing a fabulous job of helping these poor animals to recover, but it is costing hundreds of pounds per week.
I would dearly give the ILPH money if I had it, but like most of us its just not available.
So I have decided to do something to help. My son (Carl) and I are going to run the British 10K London Run 2008 on 6 July to help raise as much money as we can to give to the ILPH.
What I am asking of everyone is that this forum has over 500 members. If everbody donated just £1.00 then that would help keep a horse alive and provide medical treatment and medicine.

Please please please... the ILPH is doing as much as it can to save not only these horses but lots of horses that have either been neglected or traumatised... just the smallest donation will make all the difference.
Just a little information for those of you that don't know. The justgiving website is linked directly to the charity that you are running for. Any donations given go directly to the charity and not to the runner, which I think is a great idea because 1) I don't have to go round chasing people for money and 2) nobody can rip off the charity becuase it goes directly to them.
