I need a new pair of long boots for every day use as my Toggi Calgary boots well and truely died after 8 months of use :( Soles came apart and the zip died, not impressed!! But got money back after they were sent off to Toggi. So now I need a new pair of boots- under £100 and need to fit short thin legs (13.5" calf, 16" height). I really don't want to buy another pair of Calgarys but may have to if I can't find anything that fits. Tried Mountain Horse today which were way too wide, Ariat long boots don't fit either. Any suggestions?

I recently bought a pair of Mark Todd boots for competition but they are so comfy I wear them to ride in every day, I got them for under £100 on ebay!!

Oooh, I saw a pair of boots just your size on eBay a couple fo days ago. Was interested in them myself until I realised how narrow the leg was! LOL.

I'll see if I can find the link.

Ahh, listing's ended but then again unless you were a size 5 they wouldn't have been any good. Duh, I should have asked what size you were after first shouldn't I! :o

I have the dublin river boots, I know a lot of people have had problems but this is my second pair both have lasted approx 18 Months not bad when I live in them, well aprt from in bed of course!:) I didn't ride in my first pair but I have with this pair the sole has gone a bit thin desperately need some new ones. As long as you look after them i.e Put the fillers in them everytime you take them off to stop them slumping & quick squirt with the hose pipe now & then they should be fine. I got mine for about £85.

Am glad to hear that someone else has had problems with the Toggi Calgary boots. I have now gone through 2 pairs (both lasting approx 8-9 months) before the zips have gone. It's a real shame as I really like them though. However may now look to the Toggi Canyon boot which seems to be pretty much the same design and outline that the Toggi Calgary has but without the zip to bust!!!

Hmmm that's interesting. Currently contemplating whether to get another pair but not sure about it!! They do fit well though (only pair of long boots, apart from Sergio Grasso boots that actually fit) and are dead comfy, was gutted when they died!

I tried the Canyon boots but they were way too wide for my twig legs :(

I love my Mountain Horse High Riders. A little chunkier than some, but sooo comfy as a yard and general riding boot. (No laces).
