Everyone wants more money!!!

Not only has my farrier put up his prices because of the fuekl costs...fair enough but I wish I could charge my employer more likewise...but I have phoned the vets 2 months in advance to book my horses flu jab booster. I need it to tie in with the farrier and dentist on one day so I only have to take 1 days holiday off..so asked for them to book it for the morning to be told that if I want to specify the morning only it will cost me £15 extra! To me that is just taking the p**s being as it is booked so far in advance...I wish I could do such things. It just seems that certain industry sectors do what they like...because they can, whilst others are stuck earning not a lot! Sorry rant over but it is a bit much really!
Anyone else have this problem?
 
I'm fuming that everything is going up in price except wages!
I wish I could go on strike and demand more money like other sectors feel they can! It's ridiculous

It is the vet that has said this rather than the dentist so bit reluctant to change as it can be tricky where we are to get a decent one to take you on with only one horse.!
 
lol speaking of pay rise I'm due my annual payrise this month and I've got the awful feeling it will only be £500PA and that will be it for another year

Your so right!!! I really do think that everyone should go on a strike. If all companies went on strike then the no one would be needing as much fuel so finally they would have to lower the fuel prices and then everyone would have money again. I really think everyone should do it!

Yeah, although I'd like to put a disclaimer in that I saw it a year and a half ago so not sure what it's like now, lo. Oh well, if you don't like it you can come live with us!

This is linked to the more money OP - prices have gone up, amount of trains on time have gone down!

(Sorry to hog thread) I'll see if I can pluck up the courage to come to that ride on the 29th, I had a nasty fall a few weeks back and have lost my nerve a bit landed hard on my back at speed
