Everything rubs horse since being clipped help!

Since giving my tb a blanket clip his rug and neck cover has rubbed him only very slightly but dont want it to get any worse! Also my leather girth has rubbed him and have found my legs rub his sides too when iv rode him! What can i do to stop this?? Someone suggested put vaseline on the affected areas but would like peoples opinions on this please.
The same tack and rugs etc never rubbed him in the slightest until I got him clipped.

Everything rubbed my boy when he was clipped. I used Vaseline on his side's where my boots rubbed, a sheep skin girth sleeve and bossy bibs. Hope that helps.

You can also get sheepskin rein covers from fur feather Meds to stop rubs on the neck.

When clipped, mine gets mild rubs on the front points of his breastbone unless he wears a Bossy's bib-they're fab.

Yes, mine too. He has to have bits of dead sheep on his reins
