Anyone who's been following Evie's progress will understand why I am SO pleased little Evie has made it this far!! :D She is 9 weeks old (nearly) and definately was wanting to come home as she missed me  I bought her the posh (pink!!) crate yesterday and today she came home. She is settling in REALLY well, I dont think she's really noticed she's anywhere different. But loving being with me again, bless her :D

Maya (surrogate mum from about a week old) is thrilled to have her home and has been watching her like a hawk. The pugs love her too, but they are so rough and bolshy they are being very closely supervised around Evie (she is very, very breakable! ), Maya is particularly protective, she doesnt stay too far from her daughter.

Anyway, on with the pics!

Mum Maya had a bit of a face on her at first, she didnt want the pugs anywhere near Evie:

DeeDee had a litter last year and was a fantastic mum and definately has the maternal instinct with Evie, much to Maya's annoyance!

You must be delighted! She s a testament to your dedication. She'll be ok, now, won't she? I see she has two mums now!

Where on earth does one get pink crates?!

Thanks guys! Half of it was hard work, but definately Evie did her part, she is one tough little pup!

She should be ok now, physically she is in good health (had a thorough MOT at the vets last week), but chi pups are so incredibly delicate, and Evie is particularly tiny. Her fontanel is still open (will close in time, its perfectly normal for a pup) so we have to be very, very careful to make sure she doesnt get a bang on her head or any other kind of head injury. I am pretty much wrapping her up in cotton wool, after all the work I (and she) put in to getting this far, i'd hate for her to have a completely avoidable accident! So, she is the china puppy for the next few months :D

And pink crates (and baby blue and purple :D ) can be found at any good dog show :D lol

I say this every time, but she is just gorgeous! You must be so proud.

Now off to tell my friend that her Chi NEEDS a pink crate!!

Ebay for pink crates too, I resisted the temptation to buy one for Risk lol.

Evie is just gorgeous! Doesn't she look incredibly tiny in that crate lol.

And I will get round to pinching a Pug lol :D

She is looking so good. When I saw the title of this I thought she had been at the vets for something I had missed, but presume you mean home with you as oppose to your mums , phew.
I remember the thing with chis' fontanels, really used to freak me out, particularly as we had chis and GSDs and the size differentce was scary.:p

I too read the title and thought 'oh no, Evie has been poorly' so glad she has not been x

She is absolutely gorgeous and a real testamount to you - how on earth do you manage with so many animals, they all look so well looked after and loved, how on earth do you have time for you? - you amaze me!

Ooh, yeah sorry, probably should have explained a bit more! She hasnt be poorly or anything, other than a trip to the vets last week for her first vaccination which she hated :D She was born at my mums and I moved in there for a few weeks when I was hand rearing Evie, but yep, she's just come home to my house :D She wasnt due to come home for another month or so, but she has been off her food a bit, my mum couldnt get her to eat much at all and I think its cos i wasnt there as much and she just wasnt very happy. She has eaten VERY well since she's been here (currently on her second bowl of breakfast as she ate the first one down no problems earlier this morning!) so I think she was just upset i'd abandoned her... Bless!

As for all the animals... Its easy really, you just have to learn not to sleep :D
