These keep popping up on my FB feed. Quick look at the site suggests thet are 'technically advanced' and the most comfortbale saddle pads on the market. Why? What is the difference between these ones and any other? Or is at all just marketing hype/BS?

I'm a sucker for 'comfort'products as I am keen on my horses being comfortable in their work, but these look pretty 'normal' to me.

The velcro is interesting, though Mattes have a system to clip their pads to the saddle too, the cut back head and high wither means it fits that shape best (ie a high withered horse with a saddle with a cut back), the breathability may be a very good thing but there are plenty of breathable pads out there, and even sheepskin is brilliant for wicking sweat so helping the skin not overheat.

Resurrecting this thread just in case anyone has used them now. My LeMieux numnahs are all starting to look worn and I need to replace a couple. Anyone know if these are any good or should I just replace with new LeMieux which work and wash well.

I use these saddle cloths and are by far better than others I have, including Mark Todd and LeMieux. They have outstanding breathability. My other saddle cloths will be very wet from sweating (hairy cob), sometimes right through to the saddle. This never happens with my evolution pads. I never buy anything else now
