Following the thread asking how to trace TB lineage could anyone point me in the right direction to trace my ex-racer’s history?

His registered name is Domesday (UAE) and he was bred by Darley in Dubai before being sold to Ireland as a weanling.

How can I find out his racing history in Ireland?

I’ve found his races on attheraces.co.uk and Racing Post for the UK. How do I find out who the course photographers were on that day? He placed a couple of times so there should be pictures of him out there somewhere. Also is it possible to purchase videos of his races?

Thank you in advance for your help.

He's beautifully bred, isn't he?!:)

Try contacting the courses he ran at and ask for the photographers that they use. They should also either be able to sell you a video of the race or tell you where to buy one, or you can pay to watch them on the Racing post site.

Is this him?

If so type..domesday racehorse into google & then click on images

OMG, this is really bad - not sure if that's him or not!<blush>

He is dark bay with a white star but I know there is another "famous" Domesday in Australia and I *think* that might be him.

Can you tell where/when that photograph was taken? Images on google are blocked at work so can't investigate myself right now.

Thank you very much for looking for me and for both the replies :)

ETA - just checked picture properties and that's the Australian Domesday; mine is Domesday (UAE). Thanks though, I really appreciate the effort.

Thank you for your reply.

I've contacted a previous trainer, TT Clement, via Email so hopefully I'll be able to find out a bit of his history.

I would really like to see a picture of him racing fit; especially since I have something resembling a yak in the stable just now!

Thanks again

I don't have a clue other than looking on racing post website, although maybe allbreedpedigree.com would help with regards lineage? Fingers crossed the trainer is nice enough to get back in touch and shed some light! Anyway, despite me not being much help, you have one beautifully bred horse!! :)
