Ex Racer Pictures

I've been trying to find some pics of my boy when he was racing.
Does anyone have any tips? I've done everything I can think of; contacted trainers, course photographers etc. but nothing has come back.
I did find one pic...... but his head and shoulders were missing, I only knew it was him from the silk colours

My hubby got me an anniversary gift the other day - of my ex-racer "Pagan Storm" on his winning races. He got them put onto a DVD and sent through the post - it was a fab suprise - he went onto the racing post website and e,mailed the editor and he did the research. Maybe they have photos in their archives?

if youv got the name of the horse, www.attheraces.com at along one of the top menus is 'form research' click on that and enter the name of the horse, and it should (fingers crossed your horse is archived!) come up with the results etc! at the right on the results charts should be an option to view videos of their races. i imagine if you did a lot of bugging and sucking up you could email in and see if they could send you the clips, then if you have a clever computery person, they could freeze the stills and woohoo, a picture!

With Sov, I looked up his races, then contacted the racecourse, who gave me the photographers name I contacted him and sent me the piccys!
