I posted the other day about our boy's first venture into outdoor showing and what a good boy he was. Here's a piccie of the event, excuse the missing feet!

I'm so pleased with the way he has come on. We bought him sight unseen and untried off an internet ad. and loads of people thought I was mad for buying an ex-racehorse for my daughter's first 'proper' horse after ponies. Luckily for us the gamble seems to have paid off!:)
 
He is a stunner and they make a lovely combination!

How long have you had him and do you have a "before" photo for comparison?

-Rach- am with you on that one, bay is my least fave colour just because it's so boring, but I like this one!

We have had him since last August. No real 'before' pics, he wasn't in bad condition when we got him but has put weight and muscle on and works in a nicer, more relaxed manner.

As for success, he was pulled first in a large class but dropped to third after taking a little persuasion from the ride judge to go into canter!! We were thrilled with him though as he was so well behaved and we had probably taken the edge off him a little too much as at his previous show he tanked in his gallop and we were paranoid he would nash with his first ever ride judge!!:)
 
Was a 'normal' horsie show with a couple of classes for ex-racers. Luckily fo us there are loads of calsses round here for them now.:)
 
Wow they look fab together, he's really gorgeous! I saw your post the other day so nice to see a pic of them enjoying themselves. Well done!
