ex racers

Hello, I've already posted something similar on the ex racer thread but am still none the wiser, so I thought I'd try again.
If a horse has been in training but never raced,are they classed as ex racers ??? probably a really silly question but I have now idea where I stand if I wanted to take her to certain shows.
Sorry if I'm being thick , but I'm quite confussed

if you can prove that she has had the training then yes.

I have a ex-racer that has done the training but not hit the track, I have contacted her trainer for confirmation. That is enough for the certain classes you are talking about

Thanks thats good to know, I've always worried about contacting her trainer in case the information was confidential or something.

I am in contact with her breeder and previous owner who has told me where she trained. But it is nice to know that she still might be classed as an ex racer.

Yes I think you can do, but I read somewhere that some of the classes are for horses that have run, I am not sure though????

It depends on which classes are being put on. But to have a bit of paper to confirm that your horse has been in training will help the cause!
