... are your labrador pups?!

At around 12 weeks old, for example? Does anyone have a 'quiet' one? Does anyone have a super crazy one? And how have they grown into adulthood - have they carried they traits on or have they calmed down / come out of their shell?!

We lost our last lab earlier this year and she still thought she was peter pan even at nearly 14... I have seen a beautiful lab pup, but she is crazy! Very intelligent and think would enjoy being trained, but what about the rest of the time?!! Am I about to introduce a mentalist into the house - I don't remember any of the others being quite as boingy!!

all puppies go through a thug stage! labs are no different tho they are very greedy and are ruled by their stomacks!!! its how you bring them up. they like regular routine, exercise and food! and food! if you have the time for a puppy, to socialise and train it, and manner it then go for it. crate training is useful esp if you have to leave the puppy for a couple of hours .. at least you know your house/belongings are safe.(and the puppy too!!) if you last had a puppy 14 years ago your memory has chosen to forget the boiterous moments, the destructive moments! as before if you have the time go for it its so much fun bringing the loony pup up to be a well behaved loyal companion. Have fun. post some pics.
