Well my boy has been brought in during the day and out at night to allow his eye to get out of the sun. While he was in for 12hrs a day I noticed he wasn't peeing inside but wouldnt go when he went out. He also has a swollen sheath. Spoke to vet who said not to panic as he has to be peeing or he would have coliced by now.
Thought no more of it until he went on boxrest last week. And I was only getting one small wee a day. Which isn't normal for him. Phoned vet who came out on Monday. So far urine results are fine and blood results are ok. Showed low white cell count but nothing significant enough to cause any worry. Kidneys are fine and Awaiting a poo sample result for salomella and blood etc.
Currently on a probiotic to try and get his guts working properly and codeine aswell.
Vet is concerned about the amount of water he's drinking it ranges from 95-125litres a day.
So far we are not sure whats going on. Anyone got any ideas?
