Good evening forum,

My 6 year old full ID has started to pee loads. Normally he never pees under saddle, went out for a hack yesterday and he pee'd 3 times in 1 1/2 hour ride!

He is in same 4 acre field he has been in for last 2 years, lives out and has been since March. During all that rain we had early May, he did not pee like this so not sure about it being more water in the grass etc which was my first thought process. He does have a salt lick (natural) one hung up in his field for his use, but not licked!

Have any of you guys had this problem with your horse? Do you think it might be a bladder infection?

Went to dressage today though should have called it stressage! He normally brilliant but today decided half way through to bronc and buck in collecting ring, I got off him cos he was becoming dangerous, he stopped and pee'd straight away, after that carried on like nothing had happened!

Think I may have to call the vet?!?!

Thanks for reading xx

He is on grass 24/7 and scoup of Spillers pony nuts and a scoup of Dengi Lite a day and thats it!!!

He is 6 so if its cushings so hope its not cushings!

Gonna ring vet tomorrow and ask him to come out and blood test for kidneys/livery function and take a urine sample for testing as this is so out of character for him...bless him. He is not in pain when he goes his wee is clear as a bell and he is fit, healthy, glossy coat and a very good condition score.

This has just started happening the last 8 days...very unusual so vet it is! Grrrrr
