Hi I'm new to this forum but hope you out there can give me a few ideas...Took my horse to a local show the other week, she can get a bit excited when she goes out...she was an absolute dream during the warm up for the riding and showing class in the morning, in fact she was so chilled she was nearly going to sleep in the line up...any way lunch break some nice hay and a drink them afternoom jumping...took her into the warm up area( same one which she was in for the morning warm up) which had only 1 jump and 1 other horse in it..(they were only walking around) and the moment she stepped in she would not go forward, doing some lovely trotting on the spot and going sideways.......spent ages just walking and trotting her round to try and settle her and make her go forward before we even started jumping then when we did she started rushing the jumps....any ideas......
