Safest way to get them here?

I have got elderly ponies coming to stay with me for a few days, as my grazing is good... but... they are only a few hundred metres away but.. they have to come down a bad bend.

Many horses come down my road for hacks but the drivers come down it like bats out of hell, my main worry is that they are not my ponies and I have to get them here in one piece, and they only way is to lead them on my own.

What would be the best way to do it. I have always done it with me in the middle of the two, I suppose my question would be, is it better to get someone to walk some way behind warning drivers, or is that a bit over board?

Other than that, I am sooooo excited to have ponies in my front garden ( btw it is nearly half an acre and they are only coming for a few days)

This is such a lovely thing you are doing btw.

If I were you,I'd get someone to walk with you,for your own piece of mind. It's a very sensible idea, and in no way overboard.
