We put our little exmoor pony up for loan and had a few responses but either too far away or not exactly suitable. We got contacted today from a lady who is only in the village next to our field (!!) They drive past almost everyday and say hi to the horses. :) She said it was for her 8 year old daughter who has ben riding since she was 2years old (But she has mental disabilities so is a few years behind herself) Bless her. She said she can walk, trot, and steer :D (off lead rein) But theyre looking for a little pony to walk out on lead rein up a lane whilst walking the dog etc, which is ideal and just what we're looking for (Someone nearby to check up, and someone wanting a lead rein as he is a complete saint with kids) :p

Theyre coming over tomorrow to have a little look, hopefully i can get picked up from college in time! :D Then if they like him they might come over on saturday to have a little ride :D :D

Sooo happy my Fuzzy Buddah might get a nice loan home which sounds perfect (only down the road so easy to see him) and he can have the love and attention he needs as he is sadly outgrown here and im the only one who rides him (once every few weeks!) which isnt enough. Fingers crossed!!

Sorry pointless just Happy Happy Haapppyyyy :D

They came, and they were soooo lovely!!!! :D :D
little girl was sweet bless her but a bit dopey as her medication was starting to run out. She sat on Dandy bareback while we got his tack, then we tacked him up and my friend walked them around :) Then i got on and walked/trotted/cantered him round to show he could be ridden off lead, then the little girl wanted another ride so we let the mum walk him round so they could both get used to him :) Theyre only concern is he could be a little too strong but theyre wanting to give him a go, maybe for a month or so to see how he settles in etc :)
We drove past where they live, lovely paddocks out the front which is where Dandy would be spending his spring/summer. And the livery where he will spend winter is just up the road from my field :D AANNNDDD!!!! (yes, more good news) At the livery, a friend of the mum is giving away her horse (bought it for her daughter who lost intrest and the mum is fed up with looking after it) so little girls mum is going to give her a message from us as my friend is looking for a horse :D plus it had an amazing jump apparently :D Eeeeee Exciting Stuff!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
