Was browsing around on BE's website, nd under the breeding section they have created a list of the top 250 mares (on points) ever - and William's grandmother, my mum's 15hh eventer, is about 70th!!! Also found out her sire's name which I didn't know for sure, so that was a bonus. Deco didn't quite make the cut though...

Must be a fairly thankless task musn't it? And they say their next is to compile a list of the most succesful dams based on progeny's points or soemthing - now hat's going to be a herculean task! What's your mare called?

Thanks for that! I've found out that the grand dam of my yearling is 58th (Ask For Mary)!!
Shame so many have unrecorded breeding though.
