I need some new boots for my barefoot TB. He's previously had a tendon injury so I need to ensure I give him enough support and protection. Will be mainly used for Hacking and schooling for the moment. Do I need seperate sets...? Any advice would be great.

You really need to look at boots that won't heat the legs up.
I use Dalmar racing boots for hacking and schooling, they are very light and don't heat the leg up at all, not cheap though ;)

Ive used Professional choice sports med boots but really worry as they my boys legs are boiling after exercise.
I've had a look at the dalmar boots, apart for the price:eek: they seem good, Which style do you use.

I use the racing ones, did try the Premier Equine equivalant due to price but didn't like them at all, but a lot of people love them so it's def personal pref.
If your looking for a sports medicine type boot Premier Equine ones are more breathable than the P/C ones.

Ahh Thanks Jacksmum. very helpful. Will have another look at the Damar ones and if not will probably go for the premier equine ones s med boots, they look much better and they're about half the price of the prof choice ones I bought Last year.
