Horsey magazines are always full of "get your horse fit this spring" features at this time of year, worth having a browse maybe? x

I just have days where I do certain things which keeps my boy interested as there's always variety. Mine is:
Monday - boring flat work e.g. Bending, collection.
Tuesday - fun flat work, using poles etc as my boy enjoys that.
Wednesday - boring jumping. Trying to get him over 'scarier' jumps etc.
Thursday - hack with someone.
Friday - fun jumping
Saturday - hack alone
Sunday - off.

My boy does -

Monday - Flat schooling
Tuesday - Canter work in the school
Wednesday - Jump
Thursday - Canter work in the school
Friday - Flat schooling
Saturday - Jump
Sunday - either competing or hack/canter work on grass

He never has a day off except if their is any reason I cant ride eg. bad health, ridiculous weather..

He is 16 and getting fit to event again this season and has his first run at the beginning of March to give you an idea!
