I'm wanting to buy an exercise sheet but am a bit confused on what size to buy. In normal rugs, my pony is in between a 5'6" & 5'9" - can anyone help? Thank you.

Normally you take about 1' off - so you'd need roughly a 4'6 or 4'9. Which probably depends on how wide your horse's quarters are. But if you want to be precise measure from the withers to the root of the tail.

Thank you sychnant. I found conflicting info when I searched on Google hence asking the question on here! Still don't know what size I need lol but as Shay has said, I think I will have to measure my boy tomorrow to get the measurements from the withers to the root of the tail x

Often there is a sizing chart which tells you what size exercise sheet you should have in relation to your normal rug. E.g. For my Mark Todd water proof exercise sheet it was recommended that for a horse that normally takes a 6ft 3in rug a 4ft 9inch sheet would be the right size.
