Just interested in how/when you all use exercse sheets on yor fully clipped horses.

I use a quater rug (driving horse) till the horse has warmed up, then take it off. I will use one for the warm up even if it is just a little bit chilly.

If it is freezing cold, snow, ice rain etc I will leave it on for the whole drive (mainly trotting)

Is this correct?

Depends how cold it is and what I'm doing! Once my lad is clipped again, he will wear one most of the time hacking if I feel cold enough to put on a proper winter coat myself.
Schooling, put one of to warm up, once doing lots of trot/canter/jump work take it off, back on for cooldown probably.
He does feel the cold though, poor little lamb

I put one on and leave it on throughout the whole ride.... if he gets too hot i fold it up and sit on it. Then when he's cooled down put back over him

i wear one for hacking because we only really walk and trot.

i also wear one for warm up when im schooling, then if he gets too hot i'll fold it up and sit on it. but at the moment we are only walking and trotting for 30 mins a day so its not really an issue at the mo

jay has the fleece mark todd for hacking which i will leave on, if wet i put his masta over it.

schooling etc i see how warm he is.

I also have a fleece mark todd. I use it all the time now during winter for schooling (ie. dont take it off) but then I dont do much fast work at all because my paddock never has great ground conditions! At events, I use it to warm up and then take off before I begin jumping. Also chuck it on in between classes. A fleece isnt exactly going to make many horses overheat! I was actually thinking it was too thin for one of mine and am thinking of getting a Thermatex one...
