I am going to buy an exercise sheet - a little bit of hacking but mainly in the arena (not ususally in the rain

) - equestrian clearance have Masta, Mark Todd and Wetherbeta ones.

Does anyone have any recommendations from these?

Thanks if you can help

Haven't had those. I have a Thermatex (under saddle type) which is snug and fab

Also this year I bought her an Airborn wraparound as I needed something I could use in the warm-up of a show and then remove. all of the other makes of wraparound I've come across have been too small to meet over her withers (including the Thermatex). Neither of these have got a waterproof backing, but both just seem to hold water on the top and keep her warm and dry (I'm not talking torrential rain). The airborn is more versatile and fantastic quality. It will last her forever I think and was about £48 I think.

I don't like anything Masta, personally. I haven't any experience of Weatherbeeta other than their rugs. Mark Todd are fab, I love their stuff and I know a few people who have MT exercise sheets and love them. If you can get hold of them, Castle do exercise sheets exactly the same (because, well, they ARE exactly the same people lol) but cheaper. Castle and MT are quite popular (I worked in a tack shop for a short while recently).

Don't know about the others but I have a weatherbeeta waterproof wrap around one, and it hasn't doen anything wrong so far! Was out in heavy rain and he was lovely and dry on his back

I have an Equafleece one too. Excellent. It really is rain proof, although as I put it over the saddle and sit on it, so there is no faffing around with saddles/numnahs, etc. I found I was sitting in a puddle of water while the horse was completely dry underneath! It was very heavy rain though.

The best thing is that they don't rustle or flap. Mine is plenty big enough, I would have been better off with the smaller size.

Another Equafleece fan here too. Brilliant things, waterproof despite being made of fleece with no nylon cover, wick any sweat away and are superbly hi viz. Would highly recommend them.
