Having only ever bought one, that is marginally too small, where do I measure from to get his length.

Also, if anyone has a 16hh horsie what size does yours take?

My beastie takes 6ft or 6ft3 rugs if any help.

Do fancy a nice newmarket one seeing as he is an ex-racer

Well, as a guide I bought a 5ft Mark Todd one for my boys who take 6ft rugs. Bit of a mistake as its too big!! So dont automatically go for the biggest size, but then again it does very much depend on the fit of the sheet! Ive got some 5fts which are verging on small and this one which is too big......

If you want a traditional style one (ie. under the saddle) then I guess you simply put your saddle and measure (under) from a bit before the front of the flaps to the point of his bum (horizontally). But then some people only like them to reach just over the loins, not right to the tail. So really its down to preference as well!!
