exercise sheets

hi

this might be a really silly question or should be obvious but how do I know what size of exercise sheet my horse needs as it is clearly going to be shorter than his rug length? His rug is 6'3" & he is a 14.2 m/w cob. From what i have seen i think the sizes are 4'6, 4'9 & 5'0. as he is a fairly middle size horse should i just go for the middle size?

My mare is 15.2hh and is 6ft or 6ft3 depending on the make of turnout! I have a medium exercise rug for her. It measures 4ft7 and fits her nicely but she'd probably be fine in a 4ft9 as well.

I use 4'9 sheets on horses that take 6'3 rugs

I use a 5' sheet on a horse that takes a 7' rug.
