Has anyone got any tips? I generally walk miles and this helps. My hips frequently come out of place and I also get a lot of muscle spasm

Have any of you tried Alexandra Technique, Pilates etc? Any exercises that may help. I am quite fit and have quite firm core muscles but I still sometimes suffer.

Thanks

Pilates was suggested to me plus regular vists to physio seems to work. Also have a tens machine and lots of swimming

I'd only recommend Pilates if you have a one-on-one session, I have pelvis/hip problems and found going to group classes, where the teacher wasn't monitoring me closely actually made things worse.

get yourself one of those 'fit balls' tesco's do them complete with a DVD of exercises.Or go to your local gym and get a trainer to teach you how to best use it for you.
They really work on 'core stability' this will help support your back and increase flexibility.
The pilates and work on Alexander will also help.
