I am an event rider and one of my horses - a nine year old by Master Imp - competes up to CCI* level at the moment.
In the dressage we have a problem in that he swings his hind quarters in on both reins, especially in a canter.
I am looking for some exercises that i can do to help straighten him as it is loosing us precious marks.
Any suggestions welcome.

Firstly be careful to make sure you are sitting absolutely straight yourself, not trying so hard to avoid him going 1/4s in that you are causing it by holding the front end too much and making it hard for him to be correct.
Pushing against can have the opposite effect so try bringing him more towards shoulder in, bringing the shoulders to where the quarters are rather than pushing quarters out.

Plenty of work in counter canter can really help, more work in medium canter to really get him moving forward, back to working canter then on again, mixing it up to get him sitting more evenly.
I often do medium down a long side, come back to working at the 1/4 marker then 1/2 circle back to the track at B/E counter canter round short side, med across diagonal working at 1/4 mark with a 1/2 10 metre circle back to B/E again, they have to really remain true and straight if they are going to do this well and it gets the hind leg really active.

Mine has this problem in medium canter and it costs us lots of marks, my instructor makes me ride in shoulder in/fore position and doesn't let us hang in to the track too much then when we get to test situation just asking for a minor amount shoulder fore seems to do the trick of stopping the 1/4s swinging in too noticeably.
