I'm back into riding at the local riding school after a long break. I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be (I'm in my 60s now) but can't seem to get into the tap, tap with the lower leg on the girth to get the horse going. Its more flap, flap .
Can anyone recommend any leg exercises that could strengthen my legs to tap the horses side without losing balance.
