Ashamed to say this is me! I originally had a lab, but when we wanted a new puppy we went for a labradoodle on the basis that she would not shed - due to severe allergies in my extended family.

Never known a dog to shed so much! She is a nightmare!! But she has been a wonderful dog in every other way.

I am delighted with my terror-poo. Admittedly, the breeder is the ashamed one as she is solid farm owning lady whose farm dog got caught by a runaway dog. Unknown until the pregnancy started as there are no other dogs around normally and it's private land for 600 acres ...

The 8 pups were a total mish mash of coats and colours, so it was assumed that sire was a naughty runaway from a nearby farm, all rehomed cheaply within the farming or equestrian community ... I did a DNA test on mine, and the sire was identified as pure mini poodle! My dog looks like a Welsh Terrier. Some of the siblings have grown into more curly coats also. I got my pup during Covid; breeder could have made a fortune with her "Designer Terror Poos" but instead she sold them on as "farm dogs". Probably better for their terrier half to be in our community ;).
