Just been given my weekly farm bill with a wormer that the farmer gets in so we all worm together. He has charged us £18.50 for Equimax :eek::eek:

How can he justify this?

That is expensive! I think i paid about £12 last time I used it. Surely he gets a discount for bulk buying too?

I would ask him why so much.

A quick search on line shows most sites atre selling Equimax wormers are around £12 however if you really search you can find one site selling them at £23.15p......................... even Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed you but these don't!. :(

Just got back from the yard, the Equimax isn't in a box and hasn't come with instructions. When I asked why not and why is it so expensive I was told pay up or get off the farm!

farmers eh :D there so subtle sometimes

equimax are about £21 at my local farm shop maybe he just picked some up there while he was getting other "farm stuff"
he might not be intentionally ripping you off , he may just not be aware that he could get it cheaper , i'd simply point him in the direction of a cheaper online pharmacy

I bought equimax from countrywide a couple of weeks ago and they were about 17.00 ish. His price is not that awful but looks like he may be making about a pound a pack...unless he paid the lower amount quoted here.
