Does this sound expensive?

15.2hh chestnut Welsh D (not yucky, quite a nice one) rising 4y.o mare. First time away from the yard on Wed hunting (Masters hips hurt after half an hour so I took over...in pigtails, blue beanie and blue cords...stylish!) she was good but very green, jumps at things, did a mini rear, nothing major e.t.c

£3,500-£4,000 but wants £5,000 as thats what she'd make at Builth.....I nearly fell on the floor!

lot of money for a horse that hasn't done much, specially a young one?
I am tight though, so maybe the going rate?

Good lines, Nebo Tomos but she's only just been broken, did a massive jump when OH rolled past her on the quad (thought our master was going to come off

) and jumped at hounds coming through hedges and did an emergency stop coming around a bend on a lane with me when she saw a puddle, went straight on when asked though. School?

You're all very brave. I'd never take a just broken rising 4 yr old hunting, especially if it had never been out. Poor thing must have been in shock!

Welsh cobs are usually pretty placid aswell.
 
if she has the right breeding and the right buyer is there she could easily make 5k!! not so long ago a sec d broodmare went for 17k!!
