I just wondered if anyone has experienced selling their horse on sales livery at any dealers around surrey/sussex. Seen good recommendations about Southgate Farm, anyone used them before?

Out of interest how does sales livery usually work? Do you pay livery and then a % of the sale, or not pay livery and then a bigger % at the end? I think I'd get a much better price for my boy if he was on a nice yard with facilities and had a bit more work.

Thanks, do you have or know anyone who has had experience of selling with Julia. She sounds like to best option as ive read numerous reviews that she has a good turnover, which is good if i send my horse to her!!

I haven't had any selling experience with her, your best bet is to give her a call and she can answer any queries you may have.
She is very honest though, and wouldn't sell your horse to an unsuitable customer.

I used Emma at Clipclop traders and really rate. Higher livery p/w cost that others but he was schooled from day 1 and went to his new home after vetting within 10 days. she charged livery pw then % of sale price and if he needed shoes etc will there would have been owners to cover but lucky enough wasnt there long.
