I was just wondering whether anyone knew of people that need their horses ridden, provided they pay the livery fees etc. I am asking this as I would love to ride either an eventer, or a potential eventer to work up the levels with. I have my own horses, but I don't believe they will ever get to a high level at eventing.

I am an experienced and capable rider in my opinion, and have brought on greenies and young horses before. The height of the horse doesn't matter provided it be over maybe, 15hh. It doesn't matter about the gender, except not a stallion, and any vices are fine. I would expect very little payment on top of the livery fees, if any!

Anyone who has any help on this subject would be greatfully thanked!

Tbh i think you will struggle...you cant expect to ride somebodys eventer to gain experience for yourself and expect them to pay livery and you

,i would expect you to pay me for use of horse

Why not sell the 1's you have and use the money to buy something that will take you to were you want to be??

Agree with Hadfos, I think your being pretty over ambitious, If you have horses that are not good enough for what you want then sell them and buy something more to your requirements..

I also would expect you to pay to ride my horse. I suppose it would almost be like a loan/share agreement in a way?

Absolutely, there are plenty, and normally their owners send them to professional riders with good reputation

Ok, thanks. Do you think there are any horses, maybe not potential eventers or anything, that need bringing on where their owners would pay me, even though I am unknown? It doesn't really matter vices or anything, or even if the horse can never event at a high level.
