I am a 25 year old experienced freelance groom looking for weekend/part time work. My previous employment was at a professional dressage yard where my responsibilities included mucking out, turning out, grooming, tacking up, exercising, feeding and cleaning tack amongst many others. I was working with youngsters, mares, stallions and competition horses so I am comfortable working with all horses.
I have been riding on and off for 18 years and I am currently focusing on dressage at present where I compete at Novice level. I do also jump frequently and have had experience of cross country in the past so while my current focus is dressage, I am comfortable working with horses in any discipline.
I work full time during the week therefore I am only available at weekends (if required I could possibly work the occasional evening after 6pm). I am flexible on any work that is required - I am happy to do holiday cover, exercising horses, permanent weekend roles, help on show/competition days, even down to covering just one day if you are short of staff. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need the occasional bit of help, no job is too big or too small.
I am based in Knowle, nr Solihull however I have my own transport so am willing to travel (within 20-30 miles) to your yard if you are not in the local area. My rates are negotiable so please contact me to discuss.
