I do not normally post in here so i hope i am doing this right!

My 5 year old minature poodle has been prescribe Zylkene as she is getting more and more anxious at home. Nothing has changed in her routing but she is losing weight in nervous engery. She will not stop barking if she is in the garden, running up and down the wall. We live in a town.

She is fretting her sister and is peeing all over the kitchen floor.

Does anyone have any experiences of this medication? her sister is epileptic and she has show an few slight tendencies.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Post away, we're quite nice :p

I would query something like, as you say, epilepsy or a neurological issue and maybe ask for a brain scan?
Sounds like she is under a lot of pressure, bless her.

She does seem in pain and/or disoreintated, her last fit was a while ago. Her sister is the real epileptic....

She just seems fretful at the moment but like an overexcited child. Happy (her tail ways so much im scared she will dislocate it) and very bouncy.
