I am new to this hunting malarkey but I am so excited to start this year.

I met the Hunt Master at a local event on Saturday and he suggested I try cubbing. The main pro for me was the price (£10 compared to the usual cap of £50!!) but the con was the early starts!!

Anyway, I suppose I should have asked him when I had the chance but I only spoke to him in passing. What are the main differences between cubbing and normal hunting?

Thanks in advance :)

Hiya, presume you are going to be autumn hunting with the Four Burrow? If you ask to be put on their "text tree" they will let you know where they will be, as they will not a have a complete list of meets decided yet.

You will have a lovely time and it is a great education for your horse x

Thank you - yes I met one of the Huntsman at Ladock ODE and he put me on the text tree. What a great idea (and so 21st Century for a hunt!) She is having a quiet month this month then I will get her out once maybe twice before the opening meet. I am so excited!
