Has anyone had an export health certificate done on a leaving the Netherlands? If so how much did it cost, and what exactly was checked?

Thanks.

The general price for a health certificate from the continent tends to be 40 euros but I've paid 80 euros. This doesn't include eva testing and if you are import a mare or a colt DEFRA will require this and want it done in this country because the titer is different and some horses pass on the continent and not over here.

Hi bbmat thanks for the reply. It's a colt I am importing, so will that mean upon arrival into the UK he will need to be blood tested for EVA? He will be heading back to New Zealand with me in about six months time, so will definitely need to be tested before he heads to quarantine, but I didn't know he would have to be tested upon arrival here!! Bloody transport companies don't tell you anything!
