I spoke to someone today who knew a woman who extended the height of her trailer to accommodate her 18hh horse. Has anyone heard of this before and has anyone a clue how much something like this would cost? I've been worried about the height of my trailer for my new 17hh and this might be a cheaper solution than buying a new one.

Ooo never heard of this before, would help with big horses who are nervous loaders but I've traveled a 17hh shire all over devon and to london in a trailer and he's fine appart from a rubbed bottom once.

Never heard of extending height. Our pegusus equestrian trailer takes our 18hh and 17.2hh together with no problems. I would think it would be quite expensive to get it extended. also think about towing weight of your vehicle as well.
