We are looking to get our own place to have the horses and us all together, but it won't be where we currently live (several lottery wins needed for that lol!) so will be an area we aren't so familiar with.
Where ever we move it must have extensive hacking, but only bridleways appear on the maps. For example, where we are at the moment we have thousands of acres of hacking open to the general public, but to look on a map you would never know! It just appears as a wood with tracks - no way of knowing that you can ride where you please around it! We would like to be near another place like this, they must exist on private estates and other set ups around the place?
What areas of hacking are there out there that wouldn't be marked as bridleways on a map? Particularly interested in places in glos, wilts, devon, somerset and dorset!
