Ok, am I being dumb here. There seems to be hardly any extra full bridles online within a reasonable price range. Would love to have a clincher browband bridle but the biggest I can find is full.

Anyone got any websites they can recommend for the bigger headed beast??

Thank you!
: o )

I have a horse that is mainly XF in bridles- one of his everyday bridles is a Rhinegold, and they come up fairly big in size.

I also saw some on Equestrian Clearance the other day which were XF with nice browbands and not a bad price- sorry I can't remember the make!

You could also try Inch's Saddlery, Townfields Saddlery (their own bridles are very nice) and also Kate Negus bridles are lovely too.

I have an Elevator bridle (genuine) in black that was used on Solo, it wont fit my new one so keep meaning to sell if you are interested.

get one made? i have a rhinegold and a gallop extra full sitting doing nothing now, if jay was still in work i would be getting him a hand made one from someone on another forum

I have an extra full horse it's a nightmare as everyones sizing is so different.

I have a collegiate hunter warmblood which fits well but IMO the noseband is not quite wide enough for my boy.
Then I bought another collegiate bridle same size but with swarvoski crustal brow and crank noseband from equestrian clearance and that didn't touch him!
So I saw kisvihar saddlery on newrider and have ordered one from her for my lad- it is £150 but that was English made to measure with my specifications on everything.
Cut back comfort ear piece, crank nose band in1 1/2" width padded browband with cobalt blue beads stocked in!
And eventa reins ( they were quite expensive at £45)

I have a 17.2/3 RID mare and the only 'true' XF bridles that fit her are Jeffries or Sabre. Both are over the £100 mark though.

Others I have found don't go round her nose or the throatlatch is too tight meaning I had to mix and match which kind of defeats the object of a cheaper bridle.

thats who i would get to make my bridle if mine were still in work, although they are not doing so many bridles now, but it would be worth the wait.

sabre do extra fulls, you can find them on ebay for around 70 quid.

I had an 18.2 id x tb and used a full on him, he needed a bigger browband but rest of the bridle was fine on him. (fine as in 2 holes spare type size)

Thanks for all your replies everyone. Have just found a really nice, cheap xf bridle on equestrian clearance. It's like TKmaxx you have to be there on the right day and be more patient more than me!

Thanks again!!!
