Just wondering what peoples thoughts were. My 12 yr gelding has just developed two small windgalls on his hindlegs. I think this is due to the fact that he has jumped on grass a little more than normal this summer. He has not been lame at all and was rested and cold hosed twice daily while they formed. He is now back hacking and doing flat work (medium dressage) I do not intend to jump him for a few more weeks but I was just wondering if he will need extra support on his hind legs when I do. I don't jump massive 3ft really and normally on a surface and occassionally on grass. He also does the occassional bit of XC. He is normally show jumped in tendon and fetlock boots and XC in tendon boots on front and brushing boots on the back. I am now schooling him and hacking him in polo bandages, I tried sports boots but as he is quite sensitive these rubbed him when worked on a surface. So will he need something more behind and if so any recommendations?
Thanks in advance xx
