hi...

i was just curious really, having seen "dangerous jobs for girls" the other day - doing the cattle move across the rivers and plains...
what extreme/challenging/dangerous riding experiences/ treks/ journeys on horseback/events can you think of that take place around the world...im sure there are hundreds out there....

well I worked in the US with kids on a riding camp...I believed it would be fab and it was at the end...to start the owner believed she would match our personalities with the horses....says alot for me...she paired me up with a stroppy quarter horse who hadnt been ridden for a year due to problems...didnt tell me this....first time I had ridden western and we were in a forest with me at the back of the row and she did a buckaroo--- she did everything to get me off...I was so soar the next day....just about stayed on and then she bolted...I eventually got back to the camp 1 hr later as I lost my way.....after that she was fine with me and turned into a super little horse...
We also went on a midnight ride and I rode a 17hh horse - I am only 5'1!! Riding in the dark is not fun when all the horses run because they have sensed a skunk!! I just held on for dear life...
My thighs are the size of tree trunks ;0)
