Eye Infection..

Wondered if anyone could post any pictures of eye infections as not too sure whats wrong with my boy.

No swelling just greeny/yellow mucas coming out of the corner of his eyes, sort of like the flies have really irritated it.

Any tips on clearing this up would also be helpful.

Get some eye ointment from vet, but you can wash it out with cold tea, but definately stuff from the vets

agree, call your vet, if the horse has been seen regularly and you're on good terms with your vets, they may not even have to come out, usually they'll just put you up a tube of prescription antibiotic eye cream and if the condition doesn't improve ask that you call back to arrange a visit. But in my experience the cream normally clears up it!

I just used Brolen from the chemist. vet said it was fine when I told him I had worked VERY fast too

I use cold tea and a fly mask. But if it doesn't improve pretty quickly with that I'd phone my vet
