To all of you that has offered advice about my doggie with the swollen eye - here are some pics. I am now pretty certain this is not a case of atopia as there is not one single indication of any skin problem? Just the eye. All new thoughts, advice and opinions gratefully received please and thanks.

I don't have any pratical advice to give but think changing vets or asking to be referred to a specialist would be the next logical step.
Lokks like a lovely dog, such a shame she's having problems.
 
I would also get a second opinion.

Stella's link looks like another option and have you heard of a condition called Pannus? GSDs sometimes get it. Although I think it usually affects both eyes at the same time.
 
Hi I am taking her to a new vet on Friday (my birthday
frown.gif
) so I will keep you posted. Regarding the eyelid turning inside out, no it has never done that - altho my last staff suffered with that. Re the link kindly sent I cannot access it so will do a google search thank you. We now have £1500 bills to get from the insurance company WITHOUT a diagnosis!!
