Eye Trouble Can You Help??

hey guys

ok so here is the deal i have a jack cross and he is the grand age of 12

As from yesterday i have noticed that his left eye seems to be flickering a lot or he is trying to leave it closed.
now its not swollen and when its open fully its not the same size as his right eye.
so any ideas??

otherwise he seems quite healthy he is eating and playing no worries.

so do you think i should be concerned?

Any changes in the eye should be cause for concern. You need to take hime to the vets. What may appear to be a minor problem can rapidly turn into something more serious, especially at his age.

Edited to add, that a closing of the eye indicates pain/discomfort.

thank you for replying. about a month ago he did have a bit of hay or something in his eye and it all swelled up it was awful it was weeping and everything. i rang vets and they said to clean and all was well. but i do think this is maybe more sinister

As above, take him to the vet to get it checked .

Poor boy - definitely the vet to be safe and I hope he is ok.
