Eyelash infection ??? / hard skin / dry bits on eyelid and eyelash?

What to do with this ?????

is this an infection or just dry skin etc ???

im sure i remember being told the best thing for this was to dab baby shampoo on them ???

anyone have any suggestions ??

If its just dry skin use a eye/nose gel, i use it on my old girl who gets crusty eyes, i get it from the saddlery. its this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Barrier-Eye-and-No...9QQcmdZViewItem Its excellent.
You could try Golden eye ointment/drops
If its an infection though you should seek vet advice.
