F&*king horses! What next!

Beau came in yestrerday with this:

Had been fighting, the wound was really deep, and as you can see, v swollen, anyway vet came out.

Beau hates the vet and though it would be nice to try and kill him, oh joy!

Anyway Beau is now on antibiotics, vet asked if I would be ok cleaning it, seeing how Beau was acting LOL.

Beau has just had 3 weeks off because of him destroying his hooves, there was finally enough horn to be shod, a few days later, he does this, cant ride him until it goes down as he will FLIP if the reins touch his neck, he is such a wimp!

Also, brought Lance in hopping lame on one foot, had a stone stuck in there all night, he has a bit of thrush from all the wet, he is prone to it, and now has a bruised sole from the stone, you would think they were both dying the way they carry on.

The wound looks very nasty - ouch! Glad its not me who has to clean it!

like your title says F&*king horses!!!.............my mare went through a stage of getting abcesses in hooves one after the other different hoof though! gave me one week in between to ride! then big splinter in chest that oozed lovely gooey stuff then she decided to bruise both front soles just by the toe then finally got her over that and got shoes on her and she threw one!!....................rode her few times after that then retired her as she is a psycho! strange that after all that she has not had a thing wrong with her (touch wood!!) since!!.............must of been her way of tellin me she wanted to be a lady of leasure!!!!

Well Ive just got back from the yard, Lance is extremely lame, he has pulled something in front.

I think whats happened is he and Beau had a big fight yesterday, Beau got his neck wound, Lance is now lame!

Beau is bruised everywhere.

He was a very good boy this morning when I did his neck, even though it must really hurt.

LOL yes I can always ride my St B!
