So today, three weeks after I set my goal of the dressage with Emerald (for those who don't know Em is a 5yo ex-hurdler who last raced in May), we did the deed. The dressage at Warren Farm we did P4, Em was exceptionally well behaved, just nosing at the surroundings. We went in to do the test and again he was great, but decided that because he had done left canter the last 2 days he couldnt do it today
, but I cant complain because we ended up 4th only 5 marks away from 2nd. Also did the novice on my friends horse who hasnt been out this year, the normally bombproof boy was a wild thing but did a good test to come 6th. The only downer of the day was that Sov was a bit of colour so withdrew him from the Novice, I will keep an eye on him, cos I am soo looking forward to taking him to Pammy on Wednesday
