Sorry to be totally self indulgent but I've had such a fab horsie weekend.
First we went to a dressage comp on Saturday and got 69% in the prelim and came 3rd and 64.5% in the novice and came 5th - both scores are our personal bests. It was a really windy day and there were banners around the arena that were flapping up and down and she never looked at them and did 2 great tests.
Today we have been to our 2nd SJ outing in nearly 2 years. I was really pleased with her last time but she was even better this week. We had 2 related distances, a 2 stride double and a water tray and she popped round no problems at all in a good rhythm and never tried to rush AT ALL!!!!! She was listening and coming back to me after every fence. She was a true star!
I am so pleased with my girl - we finally seem to be making progress and I can't wait until our next outing.
